📣 The Best Marketing Ideas from Our Community
3 smart marketers. 3 high-ROI ideas. 1 community that pays you for your ideas. See the winning tips — and find out how to get in on the next $100 prize.
Last week, we asked you to share their sharpest marketing ideas. And wow — you all delivered. These are strategies straight from the brilliant marketers who make this community what it is.
We’re spotlighting the top submissions — and yes, we put our money where our mouth is. The best tip scored $100 cash, and our two runner-ups each walked away with $25.
🏆 Winner: Meredith Grubb
Marketing Tip:
Only 4% of your LinkedIn followers see your organic content, so ignore your follower count. Focus on dwell time and engagements, which tell the algorithm your content is valuable, so it shows it to more people. This means carousels and polls, not static images or even videos. And use ads to make sure the people you absolutely want to see your content see it.

🥈 Runner-Up: Mandy Nel
Marketing Tip:
Instead of chasing big influencers or mass followings, focus on small, highly engaged communities and create a network of micro-collaborations that amplify each participant’s reach organically. Don’t just ask for shoutouts, offer something mutually beneficial — a mini collaboration, a co-created post, a guest takeover, or a resource exchange. The key is reciprocity: both parties benefit, not just one. Collaborate with 3–5 micro-creators at once, linking each post or shoutout in a networked loop.

🥈 Runner-Up: Chanel Fisher
Marketing Tip:
One of the ways I’ve grown my Threads account by 2,000 followers in the past 30 days is by treating my comments as content. When engaging, I leave thoughtful (2–4 sentences minimum) comments on other people’s posts, then I repurpose it as a short-form post for my own feed. This compounds visibility, builds authority, and often drives new subscribers to my Substack — without needing new ideas and utilizing a smarter distribution system. This strategy is great for community building, thought leadership, and increasing brand awareness.
